Pollen, dust and dry air can leave the throat and nose searching for moisture all day long.
The mucous membranes of the throat and nose are covered with "cilia" to prevent bacteria and viruses from entering.
When the mucous membranes of the throat and nose become dry, the function of these "cilia" is impaired and their ability to remove foreign substances is reduced. This can lead to an itchy throat and nasal congestion. With an inhaler, a fine mist reaches the back of the throat and nasal passages, thereby moisturizing the mucous membranes and improving the movement of the fibroblasts. The inhaler is used to keep the mucous membranes moist before they lose their moisture.
The inhaler applies the technology of a nebulizer (a medical device used in the treatment of asthma) to produce a steady 10-22 micron mist that reaches the back of the throat and nasal passages easily. The mist reaches the back of the throat and nasal passages, which are difficult to reach when gargling. The spray volume is moderate to prevent coughing and is comfortable to use.
