TEMPUR® material is unlike any other. Our scientists have spent more than 30 years improving and perfecting the TEMPUR® material for sleep. Its formula has always been kept secret. In fact, fewer than 10 people in the world know how it is made, and they are all TEMPUR® employees. Viscoelasticity means that TEMPUR® material is both fluid and springy, thanks to its billions of ultra-sensitive open-cell structures that exist in a state somewhere between solid and liquid. That's the secret.
